COMPASS: AI Knowledge Platform Concept

EY · Digital Risk Internship · Summer 2026 Capstone

During my summer internship at EY, I developed COMPASS, a proposal for an AI-powered platform that helps employees find and understand internal knowledge. Drawing on my onboarding experience, I explored how scattered resources and unfamiliar terminology can make it difficult to connect training with day-to-day engagement work.

My main goal was to make better use of EY’s extensive learning materials so staff could contribute value from day one. I wanted to build understanding across the firm and make it easier for employees to transition into other service lines or industries.

I presented the concept through interface mockups and outlined a phased implementation plan, starting with existing resources in one service line before expanding.

AI as a Tool: Learning Workshop

Alpha Kappa Psi · Director of Internal Performance · Fall 2025

As Director of Internal Performance, working under the VP of Analytics, I developed an educational presentation for chapter members on using AI thoughtfully in academic work. The workshop explored the risks of relying on instant answers and encouraged members to stay actively involved in their own learning.

I outlined ways to use AI as a personal tutor, including identifying knowledge gaps, working through explanations, and checking understanding through follow-up questions. I also shared a reusable prompt that guides students from defining a concept to applying it, teaching it to someone else, and spotting mistakes, with questions and hints to support independent reasoning.

Investor Sentiment in Social Media

ISA 381 · Concepts in Business Programming · Final Project · Fall 2025

For this team project, we used Python to analyze investor sentiment in BitcoinTalk forum posts. We built a positive-and-negative word-list scoring approach and compared it with VADER sentiment analysis.

Using pandas, Plotly, and Matplotlib, we explored daily discussion volume, grouped posts into positive, neutral, and negative categories, and compared average sentiment scores across the two methods.

Our team designed a relational database for a public golf course, supporting customer records, tee time reservations, cart assignments, and clubhouse sales.

We translated business rules into an entity-relationship model, documented a design normalized to third normal form, and used SQL to define tables, maintain records, and retrieve business information.
